The Project is a not-for-profit voluntary association, run by a Management Committee of volunteers.

HRNP was funded by the INCREASE III Waste Prevention programme from August 2008 to March 2011 to reduce household waste by converting families in Highland to real nappies. From April 2011 to March 2012, HRNP will deliver the Baby Footprints project, funded by the Climate Challenge Fund, which will help Highland families reduce their carbon footprint through real nappies and other carbon saving measures.
